2013 turbo inake manifold removal clean valves

Can anybody give me some insight on what is involved removing the manifold. Anything to watch out for. Will I need a new gasket? type of cleaning solution for the valves. Any pattern for installing bolts back onto manifold. Thanks much appreciated

Removing is straight forward. Remove all lines and disconnect any electrical connectors that are attached to it. Then remove all bolts and comes off. Took me maybe 45 mins the first time I did it.

No new gasket needed unless you mess up the one on it which would be difficult to do.

Cleaning solution for valves is not cheap or easy to do correctly. Cheapest half azz way is having meth injection on the car.

Bolt/nut install is like any other piece like it, start from center and work away.

I wouldn't call WAI half-ass at all, but preventative maintenance.

WAI would have a hard time cutting through three years of neglect and baked on crapola. It can also cause chunks of detritus to get ingested... better to clean and then run cans and injection after you have established a clean starting point.

That goes without saying, sf, but there are those whom do not understand the tao of carbonification, nor the tao of de-carbonification.
