    SRI Comparison?

I have seen comparison posts on hot pipes, cold pipes, and intercoolers. I have been looking at the options for a quality SRI for my '14 VT. I know that I want to go with a 3.5", which rule out the AEM and Injen offerings. I don't really care about powder coating, and if given the option, do not want the recirculation hookups, which also gives me the lowest price. The options I am finding are:

    Tork Big Gulp: $199

    SXTH EE: $205

    845: $175

    Turobosocks: $162

Personally, I prefer the one piece design, so that kinda rules out TS. I know that Tork, SXTH, and 845 all offer quality products. I have seen the Tork dyno results, so I know that their intake will perform. The SXTH and 845 have a similar construction, so I'm wondering if they would offer similar results.

I'm reaching out to those of you with experience with any of these intakes. Are there any pros or cons to any of these? If there is enough input, this info could possibly be put together into a sticky for future newbies to be able to compare more easily.

Thanks for any input, and please keep it respectful.

Is the Turbosock price including cone Filter?
Torks used to cost $299 so the $199 price is awesome
With Sxth, remember that you can use 6evt coupon code for 3% off your order.

I'm using Sxth SRI right now and I love it. And I do have the option to order the extra piping to go to CAI if I want to in the future.

I like the black finish of the SXTH and it comes with a big filter. Not sure how big the Tork one is.

Too many parts to list: My build thred.

The Turbosocks price is non-anodized and with no filter, although they offer the option for +$28 for Spectre or +$45 for K&N.
The Torks does not specify whether it comes with a filter or not.
SXTH includes an AEM Dry-Flow filter.
845 has an option for a filter for +$29, but doesn't specify the brand.

If you go with a 3.5" SRI or CAI the only difference you'll see is esthetic. If one of them looks better to you go with that one. I like the SXTH because if you order the CAI you have the option of switching to the SRI if you feel the need.

The SXTH w/ coupon is a great price, comes with a good filter, has a classy wrinkle black powder coat, and is versatile in that it can be switched to a CAI with one pipe. The mounting bracket is also solid. SXTH intakes are my go to recommendation. You won't be disappointed.

Maybe, especially when you're stopped a lot, but how that materializes in power is another story.

If you do not want all the sound of the other intakes and only care about the turbo spool sound and added power, go with this:
