You intercooler is by far one of the best out and leaves room for all kinds of cool custom work to the front of the car
My 845 FMIC is the only thing that keeps me from getting the TB spacer
If trimming the TB-side coupler is not an option, one could always lop/grind 0.75" off of the front of the TB, as there's plenty of material. Then just flare the opening for a quasi-Venturi effect. There I go, thinking outside the box again.
Might not be enough material to do this on an OEM (57mm) TB, but 0.25-0.5" should be doable. Obviously, you'd lose the bead but with the area so cramped we've seen that couplers have no room to blow off.
