    Matte grey....

I dont know if anyone else has heard about the cleaning specifics on the matte paint but it looks like hyundai is saying there gunna have you sign a waiver saying its not there fault if you dont wash it correctly. It sounds like more hassle than its worth, they also said not recommended for daily drivers.. such as myself. Looks like im picking a new color. What are yalls first pick? was it the matte grey? what color would you pick now?

I think ill go with iron man silver or pearl white i think either of those would be good picks!

Black was my first choice, then Matte gray, but after seeing the care needed and hearing from some BMW frozen paint owners about the hassle, I am going to black.

My current car is black, I guess it's true what they say... lol

I'm in FL and it's not that bad.

Keep in mind if you get the Ultimate Package, most of the internal heat will come from entry through the panoramic roof and windows. Besides, you could always get Blue Link and cool down the car before you get in with remote start.

haha, I completely agree.. I've had 3 black vehicles (My current truck which is a toyota tundra, chevy yukon, and chevy silverado) and I'm ready for a change. For me it's either elite white or matte grey. Not sure I could buy the matte grey sight unseen though.

At least down here black vehicles are harder to keep clean, but when they are they sure look damn good!

I am not willing to spend 1000$ for paint. The things that draw me to the car are: mpg; price; M/T; looks. I was going for Vitamin C but I read reviews and say that it is number 1 color for regular Veloster; scratch that off the list. I have a white Lincoln LS so that color is out. I am going with black. I have a 73 black Hurst/Olds and to me black makes some cars look mean! So black M/T and hope no ultimate package.

Dr. Beasley's just came out with a new blog post about caring for the matte. Seems it's not as bad as it seems...
