    It shouldn't be too hard to make a WireTap style plug for any other detector made. All you need is a spare straight detector specific cable, a small inline fuse (most likely 5 or 10 amp), a soldering iron, solder and some heat shrink tubing. Just cut the detector power cable to length. Strip the ends back about a half inch or so. Clip the power wire to splice in the fuse and solder it in. Solder the ends, just be careful to not make them to thick so they fit into the back of the mirror plug. Cover the entire wire with the heat shrink tubing and apply heat and you just made a WireTap for your detector.
