Hi, New to the board and thread. I got these horns, I am planning on doing 2a or 2b, can someone tell me does the horn push to the negative or positive wire, and what color is that on the stock side?

    Thanks,

    Chris

I installed the Hella horns. Read all the posts about the relay. Bought the relay, installed and they didn't work properly.
Called Hella. They said to direct wire them to existing horn wires. Did that and no problem. They are great!!

Doesn't really matter .. they are isolated from ground.

That's because the Hyundai horn relay is big enough to handle the current .. no reason for a second relay.

Maybe this will help someone with their install.

This is wiring harness I purchased off Amazon for the install. It is, pretty straight forward, but people keep asking questions so I thought I'd make a video since I just installed mine.

I bought the harness and it was problematic. I called Hella and as mentioned it is a direct plug and play. No problems whatsoever.

Is there a horn set that just sounds like a full size car, maybe like the Genesis sedan. Those still sound like a tiny car, just louder.

I'm working on finding a good place to mount my horns, and was wondering how important the air guides are that mount to the front of the intercooler and condenser... Obviously they're there for a reason, but from looking at them, I don't really see how they actually benefit anything.

I'll make the assumption, along with the stock crash bar it's pretty important to have the tapered shrouds in place. The stock bar covers up hell, seems like half the intercooler. The shrouds make the 12x8 radiator 2 inches wider in every direction probably to make up for what the bar covers, also should speed up the airflow(Larger volume through a restriction and all that, also I'm guessing approximate numbers on size).

I installed a new mesh grill and and sxth crash bar, uncovered all the radiator and IC, removed the plastic shrouds but plan on painting them some sort of silver aluminum looking paint so they're not so obvious and toss them back in to see if they make a temp difference.
