    So this was back on the first page. Those symptoms are not from a key fob being bad. A bad key fob or the car not communicating with the key fob would not allow the car to turn over at all. The message would pop up on the display saying the key fob is missing.

    A lot of time wasted replying to this but at least we know he has the only VT I've ever heard of running .040 gaps. LOL I hope the same guy that told you .040 is good isn't the same guy that found a bad key fob. To me it sounds like it was something simple but they couldn't get enough warranty time for what ever it was so they made up the key fob deal so they could log the time it takes to program.

    Have paperwork regarding the reprogram of key fobs. Anti theft system was triggered like I stated. I was there when they reprogrammed my key fobs. It didn't start before the key fobs were programmed and it started right after they were reprogrammed. When it would crank and I give it gas it would stall because the anti theft system would act like a kill switch for the fuel. Mean no harm to anyone. But people that are really douchey like you make it real hard.


    As far as spending, the main things that I bought were the fuel pump and fuel line from 6thengineering and the reprogram which wasn't much. Battery Sparks and Coils I had bought a while back. I basically did a full tune up so I won't have to for a while.

    You can call me a douche but we just have to laugh a little at this. Just to reiterate, unless you have some strange car, it doesn't turn over if the anti theft is on. The only exception is if the car is already running. Then it will keep running until you turn it off and then not start again.

    I'm sure they gave a receipt for the work, no doubt. The point is I think they just did all that to get warranty labor pay because that shouldn't have caused your car to turn over but not start. Try leaving your key in the house and go out and try starting your car. See what happens.
