    Question I've just got a Veloster Rally Turbo, How can I get a better sound than stock?

    I am very new to modding but it's something I'm looking to get into, seems like fun. I'm mainly looking for a better sound than stock. Instead of a whole Borla or Magnaflow exhaust system, AlphaRally16 said he just put on a flowmaster super 10. I'm not too worried about performance at this point, more of just a better headturning sound with a deep rumble and minimal droning. I plan on adding a Turbo XS BOV and an Injen short ram. Thanks for any input and help!

    Scrap the Injen and get a 3.5 intake... exhaust is something everyone has a different option on... there is a thread with sound bites off diff setups you can hear.

    Any ideas where this thread would be? Also what intake do you recommend? All I've really looked at are the K&N and the Injen. I don't want a cold air intake just because I live in Michigan.

    K&N/Injen intakes aren't the best for this car. Look at the short ram style intakes from SXTH, Tork, & 845 Motorsports.

    As far as intakes look at the vendors... SXTH, Tork and others offer 3.5 ... the injen and the KN and 3" not worth it.

    I would just add an exhaust and a downpipe. The intake sound was enjoyable for the first 15K miles. Check out my instagram, xnoxide. It looked nice and all but the noise was just getting to much. FYI, if you do decide to stick to the intake plan don't invest in the INJEN. I had it and shortly got rid of it as soon as the 3.5" was introduced.

    I second what E9c900A says. These cars require some ground work before you start mods. Best to start with upgrading the fuel line. Then read about LSPI. Low Spead Pre Ignition. After this you will want to change your oil. Several big oil suppliers are making oils to help prevent LSPI. Actually rather interesting research. Now if you just want some noise you can always remove your muffler. Two bolts and a few exhaust hangers it will slide right off.
