    So I read a majority of this last night after quite a few beers. Most which I can comprehend, but fair warning..... if you are on this forum asking what color muffler goes on a VT don't even waste your time.

    Alot of it is relevent to emissions, and most of those parts I admittedly glossed over. BUT, very interesting info when it comes to the injector selection for the TGDI...says the NAV injector is basically a better choice for this motor all the way around outside of very heavy load full throttle situations.

    From what i determined after one read the author of this pdf is adamant about the design of the top of the piston being very insufficient for part throttle loads as it leads to cylinder wall wash (fuel directly on the bore) because of part throttle injector timing.

    The author seems to hint at the potential of this motor being hindered by the emissions restrictions placed on it by various countries. Good read if you got the smarts to understand it.

    Good find. Just downloaded it. I will read it later, I enjoy the technical stuff. The cylinder wall wash would explain the fuel smell in my oil. BTW my muffler is blue is that bad, lol
