    Top end Turbo Flutter

So short back ground, the car has FMIC, Catless downpipe, street ISR exhaust, BTR BOOST SOLENOID, BTR Tune. I'm making about 22-23 lbs boost on the top end, but the car does sometimes make an audible flutter sound in time with boost fluctuation. Is this the car making too much boost for the stock wastegate to handle. Or is there possibly another problem.

    Thanks

    Maybe a boost/coupler leak somewhere?

Can you log it? That would help a lot along with more info on when it does this.

I had a BTR tune and took it out for that reason. I put down just about the same amount of boost and I would see it jump around violently on my gauge and make terrible surging noises. They have the tunes set way too strong IMO...

    Top end Turbo Flutter

On-throttle compressor surge (rattlesnake sound) is very bad for a turbo. It happens when pressure ratio is too high, caused by too much boost at a given RPM with insufficient airflow post-compressor.

22-23 PSI in the upper RPM range is way too high without hardened internals and head studs.

Which exact FMIC are you using?

Can you capture a video with sound?
