By adjusting the front bias on the radio.

You mean the fader? But the wattage is still less. I think the make 4ohm resistors to trick the amp. Or they used to back in the day.

It is really not a big deal. 4 ohm speakers have half the volume of a 2 ohm speaker at the same setting on the radio. Just adjust the fade to front more and then you set the volume higher. If you tried adding a 4 ohm resistor to help lower the load at the amp, that resistor is going to get extremely hot and could cause a fire.

A huge majority of speakers are 4 ohm. Most of what people have installed into their Velosters are all 4 ohm speakers.

The Polk tweeters are gigantic and didn't fit in the original tweeter spot (and I like the way this looks better). I lost the stupid plate for the drivers door, but I'll probably find it in the back somewhere.

I love the way they sound, but want some more bass, lol! I didn't have the nightmare that is the Dimension system so the install was fairly easy. Having read how other people put their speakers in I'm tempted to make a guide. If you do a bit of modification to the stock speakers (rip the cone and magnet out) they make perfect 6.5" brackets.

Looking at picking up a pair of under-seat subs next. Suggestions?

Adding those tweeters with the speakers additional to the oem tweeters made it 2ohm. :-D 👍👍👍

I have a Clarion XT-1410 powering them all, and the front ones are Polk db6501 Components with a crossover; the whole system is rated and tested at 4 ohms. I didn't want to take any chances after reading the stuff about what they did for the Dimension sound system so I tested everything.

Used my Rally for a trip with the wife to Rangeley, Maine for New Years, Overall a long trip for me starting in RI, driving to NJ, down to D.C. then back to RI and up to Maine. Car performed admirably and did well on the snow covered roads as well. I'll add some pics of how she looks now which is the dirtiest I hope my car ever gets due to Maine using dirt for the roads instead of salt.

Also emptied my Moroso catch can after 1500 miles, got a 1/4 cup of gas smelling cream rich coffee. Not too bad I guess after reading some people need to empty their cans every 500 miles.
