I did a 15.0 at the track when my car was completely stock and it had more in it so your pretty close

Yup only issue is the car heat soaks very easily. Im curious where my car stands now but sadly my local strip got closed over the winter.

Thats definitely possible. My car had more in it but heat soak was killing me. My car is an auto to.

Heat soak - huh?

That does explain the variability in my performance. But this is the first that I've heard of it here.

The weather turned cold again here and it was definitely horsepower weather. It was nice to have to grab the wheel and hold on again.

So how do you know when you are experiencing heat soak?

You can feel the car start to pull timing when the intercooler is getting hot. I did 4 runs that night I believe I drove there filled out my paperwork went through tech and ran the car maybe 10 15 minutes of downtime to let it cool off. I did a 15.4 I believe. Let the car sit for another 20-25 minutes and did like a 15.3 15.4. Did the same thing once more. I got discouraged a bit so I let the car sit for like an hour with the hood open. Went back and the motor was almost cool to the touch so I took it down once more and did the 15.0. I was just putting the car in Sports mode and not doing any of the shifting myself so it should have been very consistent but to shave 4 tenths off my time had to mean the car needed to cool down.

Sadly my local track closed for good but I may have to take a trip to Englishtown once my FMIC and hi flow cat are on. The 15.0 was bone stock very little spin so im wondering with full bolts ons and lighter rims but wider tires what itll do.

On a set of better tires you could definitely pull a better 60 and cut that down quite a bit.

Full bolt ons and a tune and the car will do 13s but without the tune probably wont happen

Not bad. Did you let the car cool after you got there or just go run? My best run when i went wasnt till i let the car cool for like 45 minutes then decided to do one more run

My local drag strip is 3000 ft asl actually. If i were more ambitious id take a ride to Englishtown and would have beat that easily. But i dont know what ill run now with all the bolt ons.
