For what its worth. Via an in car GPS based tracking application.

I was able to pull a 0-60mph in 6.0sec flat ( with moderate wheel spin in 1st ) and a 1/4 mile in 15.0sec @ 91mph .. ( forgot to take traction control off, can probably pull off 14.8sec on a good launch )

Both runs were done with 1/4 tank of gas 89 octane. Its also pretty chilly here. 45*F at the time of testing.

Yeah I feel you. I just didn't read the entire Thread & didn't even notice you made rules. I felt like these people after :haha:
Which means you just need to read the threads.

I have a set of BFG DR and 17x8 RPF01 for next season... that slip was on my rotas/ kumho 4x :)

pass was done with our FMIC, Intake, DP, catback and SFR tune.. no WR and 1/2 of gas :)

cut a 2.102 on the first run but missed 4th :( ran a 14.15 if i recall or something around there.. talk about pissed.. next run ran a ~2.3 60ft and banged the gears good and pulled a 14.235 .. both of those runs should've been 13s :(..

This was a run not to long ago don't remember my mods but i do remember I left traction control on cause wanted to do a few runs of each to compare but it was the only run I got to do that night :( they closed the track due to leak :(
I ran the 15.4 couldn't get off the line for shit :( I blame me and traction control lol

Is a 15 sec flat about average?

I love the look of the VT (from the front at least) but I'm not sure how they run.
Really depends on weather and driver cause numbers go from 14.8-16 so whether ppl are lying about the 14 or just better condition s and drivers I know I'm not the best driver but practice makes perfect or at least better lol
I need to take my vehicle to the track, but I think it'd be a low 14. Would be a fun race if I can ever find a VT.

I wonder if the dealerships are lenient letting you drive them? I know the Subaru guys won't let you test drive anything unless you're going to buy it.
I went to test drive an evo and they said the same thing. Id never buy a car without test driving it first.
We were all planning to go tonight but of course, rain again. We suck :(
Has somebody broken 15 in the quarter with a stock car? Hope it is true. Means I won't get a wild hair and go and do it myself to prove a pt. R

Therock hit 14.9 stock, not sure if he's MT or AT or has a slip

I would assume he's Mt but not sure

You can check my signature. :)

Yes I am a MT. I will be heading back to the track for a drag race next week to see what my mods have done.

Not a huge fan of drag racing or roll racing as that is not the cars strength. I prefer AutoX but it will be nice to see if I improved any over stock.
Ok good. Now i have no urge to break down a barrier. Thank u sir. Ideal world itll be my slower car and my DD. My Focus on the other hand...

When I went to test drive my VT, they wouldn't even let me drive it either unless I commit to buying it. I told them the same thing, I'm not going to commit to buy it if I can't test drive it. I asked the sales guy, "What if I don't like the way it drives?" and he didn't say anything. They must have thought the VT was a GTR or Porsche. I walked away and they ended up letting me test drive it and I bought it afterwards. I'm sure they were glad not to let me walk away.

However, somewhat on topic, I will be running my car in a month or two also. Still need a dp & bov first before running. My stock bpv isn't holding boost in the higher gears anymore...bleeding boost away!
The ONLY car I've ever bought without driving it was a 2005 SRT-4 brand new.

I already had been in some and knew I liked it.

OH- btw- are any of you guys in the 13s?

What kind of rubber do you need for a 13?

I can imagine the 60 foots aren't easy with a fwd car that's also light.

We ran on kumho 4x. At I think 27-28 psi cut a 2.102 60 ft that day but failed on the rest of the run.

As far as dr. We have a set of 17" rpf01 with a 235 on it for next season :)

As far as the 60' IMO this car is much easier I launch then my ion. It's much much more forgiving then any other stick car I've driven. I burned the hell out of he clutch before one run trying to do a burn out. ( slipped for waaaayyyyy too long) and I didn't have any issues with it holding any time after that or even during that run. I nls constantly and am extremely hard on the car and it's always just like eh. Ok now what lol
