I've been looking for a couple of days and cant seem to find if a vt can fit 19x8.5 35et and 225-40-19 tires with H&R springs. Seems like everyone uses 225-35-19 but ive seen cars lowered with 225-35-20 with 20x8 rims 40et

There is a veloster on ***** that has 19 inch rims. Let me try to find it and I will report back what I find :D

BTW 18x8.5 +35 works good with that tire size, 19 inch will work too depending on how much those springs lower it.

EDIT: FOUND HIM!

19X8.5 +32 with 225/35R19 but he is on coilovers.

You are at a BIG disadvantage being on springs because you have to work around your height. I know it is cheaper going with spring but if you are going with custom rims and want a certain look, it is best going with coilovers to fit everything right with no worries.
how is the ride quality on the ngm coilovers <i think thats the name of the brand> i see everyone using those for there setup? is it close to stock ride quality or a bitch harsher?
im sorry i just reread my last post i meant a bit harsher lol.
NGM coilovers are smooth not harsh

19x9.5 might depends on offset
I have 19s on the car... And I've been in the wheel and tire business for about 8 years now. my first set were 19x9.5 all around and they poked in the front... honestly if you dont want to roll or pull your fenders, stay at 9" wide or under. i pulled and rolled mine and am tucking 10.5 in the rear. Tire size should be 215/35/19 if you want to keep the speedo right

My speedo is already wrong anyway since I bought it. ;P I'm always about 4-5mph slower than what it tells me.
Anyone try 19 x 8.5 on lowering springs or 20" with lowering spring? And not coilovers

Did you roll 'em?
I'm on 19x8 w 225/35/19....It's not 8.5 but no issues...

I tried 19x9.5 in the fronts and it was a no go wheel would hit the coilovers I can't even imagine how it would be for struts haha xD
