There is a relearn procedure for the TB but honestly it is not really needed. Just install and go.

why dont you post some photos? 256 bucks for a throttlebody sounds like you spent too much! even upgraded K60 ones are under $100 shipped.

what other mods do you have? any maintenance?

If you want a good oem I have one I'll sell you cheap on the shelf now. Or like another mentioned you can get a 60 mm cheap as an upgrade but it will require a few mods to bolt on. I've literally taken the oem 57 mm off and swapped in a 64 mm no issues without a relearn.

coolant lines are easy.... just do one at a time, pinch and insert a screw and clamp them. it was easier for me with the throttlebody unbolted from the intake.

hmmmm idk lol its 256 dollar gamble and a engine if it messes up LOL and im totally scared to rip the coolant lines off... this will be my first throttle body......
the computer kinda self learns the throttle body by the positioning sensors… if you where changing the turbo that was fooked then I would recommend a ECU re-learn since the boost values would’ve been messed up… I would just plug it in let the engine run at idle for 5min for any air bubbles to flow through the system coolant system if you do disconnect any hoses and then go on the road…as Long your fluids are topped off and you don’t notice any strange temps within those 5min then your fine. Another issue you could be having is carbon build-up on the valves.
