Hi guys, does anyone know if the wiring in a 2016VT engine is compatible with a 2013VT? The engine blew to weak con rods so was hoping for a stronger engine

It will just be cognizant of the changes to the coils, etc.

You can swap any 13-17 engine into the 13 VT if that's what you're asking. But you do need good proper coils, plugs, gaps, fuel, fuel line, and tune in the 13 as these were all shortcomings and could blow the better engine almost as easily.

It's doable, but you will need to swap coils, sensors and everything. When my 2013 blew it's engine, i put a 2016 tucson turbo engine in it with no problems, just swapped everything electrical.

When you say you swapped all the electrical. You are talking about the ECU and the wiring all the way to the engine or just the engine sensors?

You do not need to swap anything electrical. Just be sure all on the engine side is in good working order and the coils are meant for the year model of the car.
