Someboday had asked me about the GoPro mount on the front of the car, I was having troubling getting steady video from that location. I shot this today using the suction mount down low on the right side about 4 inches off the ground. Watch for the road kill at 5:05, just missed it :disappointed:

Do police care about cameras mounted on cars? I feel like they would since they could "fall off" and hit someone or a window/cause an accident. I used to want to mount cameras on my car, but I was afraid I'd get tons of tickets or I wouldn't suction them correctly and I'd lose some good equipment.

MAN I want a gopro. I just couldn't cough up the money for just one hour of recording worth of battery life and then to get another hour you have to buy another 100 bucks battery. But man I want one so bad for this purpose LOL I will one day

VERY AWESOME VIDEO! Thanks for the ride! There were time where I thought you were going to clip the camera with something. Do you use a safety string just incase?

Most of the time I do, but this was just in front of the rear wheel and I didn't want it getting into that if it came off. Also had the right side mirror adjusted so we could see it. Plus, with the GoPro app and the ipad you have near real time view as you shoot. I've never had the sticky mount or the suction mount come loose yet.

Awesome! Man those are real nice camera. I was planning on getting one for a vacation but like I said before I wanted a long battery life and a regular camcorder are better for those situations. But when I ready for action recording like that I will definitely get one.

Again great video.

nice! if i may make a suggestion, put that thing closer to the front tire. you'll get a better shot of the front tire and suspension working.

love driving vids!

p.s. ya think i can borrow it to make a video of my tedious bumper to bumper traffic commute? i think it would be exhilarating!

Ok, here is a quick one to 100 mph in under 17 seconds; closer to the front tire. Listen as I go around the curve and the CAI begins to bellow lol. Yes that is rash on the rim.
