Maybe it's just me but has anyone been able to find a good substance that will stick to the dash?
I ask cause I recently purchased a mounting cup for a gauge, while it came with sticky 3M material to adhere it seems even being slightly warm inside the cabin causes the dash to resist anything that I stick to it. The gauge of course is just one of a few things i've noticed won't cling.

I use 3M VHB tape to secure the ultragauge to the dash. Clean the area with ammonia free glass cleaner, when it isn’t hot.

No probs with velcro or VHB double stick tape, even in 100 F sitting out in the sun for several hours. Degrease the dash first.

not yet, it's been securely adhered for over 4 years! it's also a bunch lighter than a gauge+pod im sure.

Same here, with the 3M, works perfectly
