Hey Guys!

I am fairly new on here and have spent a lot of time lurking. I noticed that there was an interest in a gauge pods for our turbos. Well I reached out to some manufacturers and I have some good news. I contacted the owner at jcs-pods.com, and he is currently working on a single 52mm a-pillar gauge pod. Shortly after our conversation I asked him if he could make me a double gauge pod....I love gauge pods..the more the merrier lol. He said he would. So I went ahead an ordered a spare a-pillar for the car and I am awaiting delivery of it so I can ship it to him. They currently makes a-pillar gauge pods for for a Evos, Wrx, Sti, and the Genesis. And they are all made from oem parts. He said he should have the single pod done soon and will ship it to me to review and install.

I know I read a few threads..here and on veloster.org..and saw an interest in gauges, so I took it upon myself to see if I could help you guys out. I will update this thread when I receive the first pod and let you all know how it fits...which should be fine considering it is made from the oem pillar. Hopefully all goes well and some of us will have a gauge pillar option for our cars!

I would personally love this. I'm not a huge fan of a single gauge in the center of the steering wheel or the double cluster pods either for that matter. Goods news for sure!

YES YES this is something I have been waiting for (along with a god damn tune!!)

A-Pillar gauge pod would be the best thing for gauges since I don't see anywhere else a gauge pod would work.

I know some people already installed a boost gauge on the dash but I feel like only because it was the only least ugly spot to put a gauge.

But with a A-Pillar gauge pod, that is the best spot for any car.

I'd be interested in a triple gauge pod. One for boost, one for AFR, and one for Volts(for people with MAD systems)/oil pressure/temp, or another that would be useful.

Ask him about all three, a singe, double, and triple A-Pillar. Tell him 10 people are already interested in a matter of one night of making this thread. Imagine when it is made? they will sale like HOT cakes.

i have been hesitant on the column pods. I have a dual for my GTI and it was forever in the way. I am definitely digging the pillar pod though. Can't wait to see what it looks like when it gets completed.

Speedometer Gauge Measuring instrument Auto part Tool

it even supports 45 PSI now?!? (we'll never see that... but still)

this a-pillar that's being designed will support 52mm guages right?

I'd be in for a double/tripple, put one on each a-piller just so the chicks in the passenger seat can see how much boost its pushing

ewww, A pillars :p

I am going to pursue looking into somewhere to make a modified steering column cover to mount gauges low profile and to not obstruct the Tach/Speedometer.

Aeroforce type gauges should work, the only problem is our ECU (at least according to the Torque app can't monitor some of the things I would like it too, like oil pressure, temperatue and EGT)

2 Aeroforce gauges should give you plenty of information on pretty much anything you need. If you know your tune is good and you don't have oil pressure issues/ have an oil cooler with upgrades, no real need to worry about them.

As a diagnostic tool, by the time you notice your oil pressure drop on a gauge significantly, odds are you are already screwed.

I had dual interceptors in the shelby and they were great. Aeroforce sells an oil pressure add on kit as well as wide band. I used to have mph tach coolant temp and iat at the same time and it was very clean.
