nice! ironically, its design is very similar to my new version of my intake coming out very soon... % gain is all that matters not the numbers.. numbers are subjective to the dyno type, calibration, etc.

New version? Not the one on your website correct? I'm itching for a mod, how soon is soon?

yes, my new design will have a bit smoother bends and be 3" diameter piping.

Kinda pulling this from the other thread I asked about this on as far as the noise level goes.. Something I just came across, a cone filter inside a velocity stack.. Granted all the ones I see are typically designed for motorcycles, what about a larger one of the VT? possible to cheaply buy/fabricate this and throw it on a dyno for shits and giggles?

That's actually very cool. would help it from getting wet when mounted like how turbososcks is doing it. but they have said where the filter is its still pretty guarded.

sound will probably not be affected at all.. performance will not noticeably be affected. It will be more of a visual upgrade than anything, albeit it is going to cost more.

Once it is done, I will be selling one intake system that will work as a CAI, SRI and a FMIC CAI.
