I recently installed HID's on the low beams and was just wondering whats the easiest way to mess with the aiming of them ? As of right now they're literally giving me no coverage just shooting straight into the ground. I managed to install them without removing the bumper and would love to avoid doing that if possible

If I remember correctly, there are 2 holes by the back/on top of the headlight housing.
You'll need quite a long phillips screwdriver to get in there. Stick your screwdriver in there and start turning, one will adjust L & R, the other Up & Down.
Hope this helps and perhaps others can contribute how they aimed theirs?!!

ohhh okay I'll check that out thanks so much for the tips ! I was like theres no way these are supposed to be shining straight down they've got to be better than that. I'll line up the headlights against my garage door tonight and do my best to make them level. Thanks again !

This is looking down at the adjustment screw. I used a skinny flat bladed screw driver. It looks like you could also use a 10 mm socket if you could get to it, but there are little teeth you can get the blade into to rotate the adjuster.

Makes me wonder though if your adjustment was ok with the OEM bulbs it should still be close. Makes me think perhaps one of the tabs did not get all the way in before turning the bulb in the socket.

good point VeeTee I'll be sure to be far enough away from a wall or whatever I use to judge the beams of light. And btjetman I may have to check that out and make sure I got the bulbs in correctly. It's been so cold and windy in new jersey recently so I didn't have time to mess around with anything last night when I turned them on and took a little drive around

Be carefull with the adjusters as there not that great quallity if you go to far they un thread and your screwed they wont catch the thread and return. I had to remove my lights and kinda force the reflecter back onto the adjuster. Dont go to far is all. By the way aiming didnt do much for me with hids its the poor relationship of the lenses/reflectors to the hid bulbs. Stock bulbs gave better light

alright Chippy thanks for the heads up. I mean with the fogs on I get full coverage where the low beams have holes and aren't shooting the light where its supposed to go, but I know they definitely need a little tweaking

The fog lights make the coverage look alot better and fill in all the holes but now the colors arent similar so I have to think about changing them as well to match haha

Guys, I need help. For some reason when I put my bulbs back into the housing, they now aim almost straight down like the OP. I tried moving the adjustment screws but no dice... it's like they don't even adjust the projector.

It seems like the U/D screw was only moving the high beams... and the L/R screw was doing absolutely nothing. Am I doing something wrong? Twisting the screws has done nothing to move the beam.

Well the up and down isnt really a screw more of like a dial but if your sure your spinning the right one did you either install the headlights crooked or possibly the bulbs themselves?
I don't think so, I put the bulb in and they locked into place. Does it take a lot of turns to be able to see a difference? And it's weird that the high beam will change but not the projector lens, wtf lol

The manual says for adjustments to have a dealership do it. Do you think they'll notate I have a HID kit and void any electrical warranty? It does say in the manual "if your vehicle is equipped with HID" so I don't think it would be a big deal...

Dont bring it in with hids in it they most likely wont like that. It does take quite a few turns to adjust it. Are you you putting them up against a wall or garage door and adjusting like that or turning then checking because its much easier the first way.

Putting them against a wall. After a few turns there seems to be no change in the light pattern.
