Another Radio issue!! (USB drive)

Hey everyone,
Trying to see if this has happened to anyone else...

My only source of music in my car is a small (about dime sized) 32 gig USB drive that I put some of my music collection onto. I put it in the usb slot, and hadn't taken it out until today... and this is why:

For over a month I have listened to my music through the drive and the drive only, not switching/rarely switching to ipod/radio/phone/etc. Today on my way into work my radio went black then to the "Set Image" screensaver. Then the radio wouldnt power on for about 10 minutes, but when it did, it read everything except the USB drive... Read my cd fine, played the radio, streamed music from my phone, all with no issues... but it wouldn't read my drive. I took it out and its reading fine on my computer (not corrupted at all). Any ideas what might have happened? Did the USB somehow short the radio/USB slot? I hadn't removed it in weeks...

Any suggestions would be awesome!

Try rebooting the stereo using the little pin-button next to the CD tray.

I will try as soon as I get out of work, didnt know of a reset button... I mean.. seriously... who reads manuals? lol
Check you only have MP3's on the USB stick, I had a couple of frozen head unit issues before I converted all my files to the same format MP3
Well, the reset button works when the radio freezes but the USB drive loads and it freezes again... I have had it in there for a month and never encountered a problem... I have about 4500 songs on it though, so there may be ONE song its trying to load that could be the catalyst here. I will look into it today some more once I am on break.
I had the same thing happen with mine too. It was a bad encoding/copying of one of the songs. I was able to see the song switch to it before it happened. Every time afterwards it would hang on the same one, so I removed it.
I re-copied it back to the USB stick after and the song was fine - so I suspect something got messed up when copying originally.

Cheers!

Thats exactly what it was!! I put it in the car, went through the loading usb, I was able to see the song it hung up on. reset the radio. deleted the song off the usb drive and poof. works again :):):)
Seems a far better solution than leaving the car with a dealer for a day to pull the dash down to replace it - maybe we should let Hyundai know? :)
I had a bad song break mine too. It locks up if the format is wrong or the file is incomplete.
