I have read what feels like every thread on video while driving. What I really want is to be able to mirror my phone on the screen for navigation. I got my car in June, so I knew that the 90019001 code would not work. I felt like I had to try though. Of course I was right and it didn’t work.

I then made a poor decision. I remembered reading about the 90109010 code. I tried it (no idea why, I just did). Now I cant view videos on the screen at all. I can have the hand break applied and auxiliary power on (engine not running) and I still get the message saying the video is disabled while driving.

What have I done?

91009100 is "Driving regulation mode auto". You can try that though I haven't read anything on someone using it or exactly what that means.. 90109010 should have put it back to the factory setting I believe. Maybe try it again with that one also.

I was under the impression that the 90109010 code put it back to factory as well.

Anyway, 91009100 did the trick. Thank you for the help and welcome to the forum!
So you got your screen to mirror your phone?

I wish! The 91009100 got the video to play again when not moving.

Im pretty much back to square one.
I figured out the solution last night, after one day of working on it. WABAM! Navtv.com sells a rear view camera for the 2013 veloster. They also have a program for download that will re-activate the 90019001 code/parking mode. It's super easy to install, and completely free. Here's the url for the How To manual (just jump to the instructions regarding the zip file) http://navtv.com/userfiles/editor/fi...al r4(2).pdf

And here's the url for the file itself:
http://www.navtv.com/SW/Software_Upd...20LINES(1).ZIP

One bit of advice--you'll need a FAT32 formatted USB drive to make all this work. After the install, you'll be all set to go. Per the usual, I am in no way responsible for what you do with this information. This information should definitely NOT be used to drive and watch netflix, hulu, or a horde of velociraptors chasing down a village of orphans in the dry deserts of Arizona. Safety first, mamma jamma.

Does this allow you to mirror your phone, or just enable video while driving?
