Yeah I got mine through a credit union. And yeah...I worked my ass off to get that number! Lol. Payed all my debt off that I had, then every few days I would buy a snack from the gas station or something on my credit card, then go directly home and pay it lol

I got 1.9% at 60 mos through PenFed.org. It is for military and family, but if you pay a small donation to one of two 'support the troops' organizations (and why not? its a good cause) and once you're a member of one of those two organizations, you can join PenFed.org if you put at least $5 in the account - then apply for a loan. Was approved immediately, did everything online, and they mailed me the check, which I handed to the dealer, and drove off in mah sexy Marathon Blue Friday morning :)

Just curious, what range was your credit score when you applied for this? or do they even run it against your credit.. I'm just a bit under 700 which puts me in the "Fair" category as opposed to "Good" .. Been rebuilding my credit for a couple years now and had got it up from about 530 to 715 and then started workin on buying a house which knocked it down to about 697, and then the Dealer ran my credit for financing and took it down to about 680..

Got approved for 1.99% by a local credit union and then the Hyundai dealership offered 1.9%. I suppose it makes the paperwork a bit easier to go through them as well.

Got my VT and a great interest rate to boot.

Believe it or not, I bought my VT at Planet Hyundai in Golden Colorado on Friday evening and have spent the entire day trying to motor back to Austin, TX (930 miles) but I only got to Brownwood. Too tired (because I'm old and worn out :) The car ran great. Suspension seems very solid and I ha d no issues with cornering. I was driving 80+ most of the way and getting about 28mpg. I suppose because I was willing to be cooperative and fly to Denver to get the car, they arranged for me to get (drum roll) 1.64% for 60 months. The finance guy said Capitol One gives him several discount coupons a month and he still had several so he wasted one on me. I'm grinnin'

Now for some not so great news. The dealer in Golden said they had been told that every dealer was only getting one VT. That's what they said. I'm only repeating what they told me, but I'm glad I took Vee Tees list seriously and found mine and quickly flew up and bought it. Best of Luck to anyone waiting. I'll be posting photos tomorrow.
