My driver side rear speaker (where the 4th door would be normally) recently started buzzing with the lower frequency stuff.

its annoying.

I opted for the bumper to bumper, so I am thinking of taking it in

Has anyone else had an issue like this? I dont blast the bass, so Im not sure why this is happening, it had been pretty cold and barely started warming up, so Im wondering if this could also contribute

I'm in at my dealer right now, getting my drivers side front speaker replaced for low bass buzz - bass was ok, was only on really low bass. They had no quibbles with replacing it, just a week to get one in.
cool, I saw a thread on how to replace the speakers in the V, but that left rear one looks intimidating

All done - they said it'd take less than an hour, ended up taking 90 minutes, but the sound is crisp and clear again.
great to hear, Im trying to find a song that really illustrates what Im hearing, its now really low stuff, but more like low-mid

the hyundai dealer here is a nightmare, Im hesitant to go, but the buzz is super annoying

Try something from bass mekanik if its bass thats making the problem.

Also if you do not like the dealer from where you bought your vt then simply go to another hyundai dealer. Its worth it. I bought my sonata from a dealer at one place which was great in the sales dept. but when it came to their service dept. they sucked balls! I ended up going to another hyundai dealer and got warranty work done their no questions asked! From then on I just went there for maintenance and what nots. I will be buying my vt from their when my time comes.

not to state the obvious, but use those door speakers for mids and highs and get some subwoofers for bass. turn the EQ to 0 or less. unless you want distorted bass and possible speaker damage. you "could" get bass out of them , but your asking for issues if you try to.

I always keep my bass level under 0 and the treble almost all the way up. You should only have bass from your subs. everything else should be for mids and highs. BUT you can occasionally get a rattle from a speaker depending on what you are listening to and how loud.

I will take a look, its definitely mid to low-mid range frequencies that are doing it.

side note: I actually didnt buy my vt from the local dealer specifically because they are garbage (they argued with me that the vt wasnt available with a manual transmission and told me to get a civic si instead), the nearest dealer is about 60 miles away which is where I bought mine. Im going to call the local dealer and test the waters, if not I will go this weekend to the place I bought mine

Rattle I could live with, this was continuous... I should have got a pic of the speaker, it had quite a tear in it.
mine sounds like the cone has a tear or has separated from the bellow

Well, my front left speaker is now blown as well. last time they did a warranty job on it, so I had to go in for them to see that it was blown, then waited a week for them to get the speaker in. Im hoping this time they just order it right off the bat.

I dont listen to my music too loud either, what gives???
