HEY those footwell lights looks VERY NICE!!!!

Where did you get those?
DiodeDynamics. Snap to install.
Is it bad that I am doing all of these mods and have not gotten my license plate yet?
Nope...I had coilovers and Injen CAI and bypass valve done before I got my plate.

SWEET! Can you take a pic and show where you stuck the strip at?

I don't know. Is it bad to buy parts for the car BEFORE you even have it yet lol

There is a flat part under the dash. You can see them if you are 2 years old and look. Otherwise it never comes into view. Just look under the dash and you will see it. Get some better 3M tape as what comes with doesn't hold well.

A snap and a bunch of PM's :p looks good though. Glad you didn't end up with the same "problems" I did.

Agreed. I think there are pictures in the diode dynamics thread from my install that'd shows the location. I might do my MRT this weekend.
Im gonna hook my single color blue up to the dash dimmer right above the fuse panel. Sposed to be easy to get to. May also do a single throw double switch to be able to run em all the time too..

Yep, that's what I did.
Do they fade like the maplights...? Thats whats supposed to happen wiring to the dimmer switch..if I read correctly
I didn't hook to the dimmer just used the switch. But thanks, now I have another project to add to the list. :)
Ha! Sorry....
Excellent work with the footwell lights. Can I ask how the lights are turned on and off? Does it work adjacent to the DRL or is their a manual switch?

Two ways. Via a Remote or a manual switch. I leave the switch on so they come on when I start the car. It is the multi-color kit so the remote also controls color.

Where did you end up putting the sensor? Same place I did?

No, I went with the RF remote so no need for the sensor.
