For any new VT owner that gets the following message on their LCD screen during startup "Blu Link Active but not registered". I setup my online account at the dealership and also opted to put in my credit card info for the extended trial period of the Blu Link. For the life of me I couldn't figure out why I was not seeing the horizontal line in the Eco Coach for gas mileage, nor did I see the Community MPG rate. After going through all the settings in the LCD in the car, and going online to the Blu Link page. I ended up calling Hyundai Blu Link last night.

They are aware of this screen that shows up on startup. Has something to do with Blu Link communication with the vehicle. They say they send it over to their IT department and it will auto-magically be fixed within 24-48 hours. I was in fact registered and active on Blu Link so says the lady on the phone.

I will update once my VT has the Blu Link working. On a side note, the lady on the phone was very helpful and quick. Took all of 5 minutes from the time I dialed to the time I had a resolution. Props to Hyundai customer service.

Quick heads up... go ahead and expect to see that payment get pushed through on your CC EVEN THOUGH the site says no charges until after free period. You'll then have to call and have them credit the charge back to you.
It's a pain, and they argured with me to no end about it; but I finally got the money back and they promised not to charge until after the trial period is over.
