Update with video runs on page 4


Well I'm guessing I'm the first anywhere that I know that fabricated a huge intercooler for the VT. It took long hours and alot of measurements to make this thing fit. But right now I have to finish touching up the grill and etc so it look really nice. As for performance wise it definitively an improvement in power and no more heat soak either. The core on this is 24" long, 12" height, and 4" wide. Here's some photos of it on:

Wow, twin turbo 370z builds dont even need an intercooler that big. I am glad you like it though!

Are you keeping the grille portion off or throwing it back on..

Surprised that there is no more heat soak? HAHAHA!! You could drive around the sun and there wouldn't be any heat soak!

now you need to back that FMIC up with a big turbo :p

Nah no more grill just need add sections to cover inside of side of the cooler. Turbo upgrade will be in future once someone produce one for us.

Most people who do TT setups (on 370's at least) do custom jobs that dont need a big flashy FMIC. I mean you CAN put a big fmic on a tt 370, its all based on what the person wants it to look like but its not necessary. I mean as long as it makes you happy then who gives a crap right? Different strokes for different folks! I can respect your individuality and doing the work yourself, because I sure as hell couldnt do something like that, and for that I applaud you.

But me personally, and this is just MY opinion, putting a monstrous FMIC on a car that doesnt have the big turbo to back it up is...well...lets just say its not my "cup of tea", for lack of a better word. (Im not one to call names) I guess its sort of faking people out, making them think "holy crap that guy must be pushin 400whp with that fmic" but in reality its nowhere near that. Does it help with heat soak? Im sure it does though. This is an internet forum, you will get differing opinions and Im just stating mine. Please dont take offense.

he has a future proof fmic for sure.

it will work for a small and a big turbo. i don't see a fmic too big. it's not like there is any negative for having a bigger fmic on our stock turbo. though I believe the vt stock fmic is too small. just my opinion

that said...why not run the tt on the vt to be thee only peepee with massive hp?
