I saw this and from what I can see it mounts the same as ours , so is it worth it just for sound

not worth it.. by disconnecting the recirc hose you get the same effect. the genesis coupe on the 10-12 ,model dumps back into the turbo instead of a recirc line like the srt4 which is why they use this...

for us, our open bypass plate acts the same when you disconnect the hose.

We also don't have a flat surface when you take the bypass plate off.
