I've seen the fender bracing a bit before.. Specially from Korea.. I've never had any fender braces though..

I'm sure those make quite a bit of difference in the handling but I wouldn't want to add all of that weight to the car on top of spending 1000$.

I will be fine with my two chassis brace's I am going to be making.

it is 1000$ for all 6 braces, not just the fender braces.

1000$ includes:

strut bar, chassis X-brace, floor bar, rear hatch brace and 2 fender braces.

For you guys with more experience with this then me.........meaning most of you. At what point does the added weight of the braces outweighs the benefit? It seems that adding all of these braces would weigh down the VT a bit. Is a stiffer chassis worth it?

Funny, I just created a post about chassis braces and then saw this one. So braces that tie suspension/suspension mounting points together are the ones that are worth the weight/noticeable to the driver through almost all the inputs---braking/accel/steering/overall steering feel. I'm a bit suspect about singe bars that tie the body together in the middle of the car, but with that said we build rollcages everyday and even the basic cage will make a huge difference in chassis stiffness/the drivers perception when the cars driven in anger...the braces aren't necessarily super heavy---we just did a chromoly 2 point tie bar and it was under 2 pounds---we've got a double tube chromoly strut brace coming out that's crazy stiff and it's about 6 pounds...I plan on loosing about 50lbs with my wheel/tire combo---so I'll take that type of weight any day...

Btw, I saw that 6-piece set on eBay a couple weeks ago. The fender braces are not bolt on. They require welding as well.
