I know alot of you may think its childish, but I'm looking to paint my calipers while they are still clean.

I've got a elite white VT and plan to buy these:
Enkei Wheels - Racing Series Wheels - RC-G4

or these:

Enkei Wheels - Performance Wheels - EV5

I'm trying to decide on a color, Red is not my taste.

I've been thinking yellowish:

Let me know what you guys think and if you've got any pictures be sure to post them :)

Black always works and my wife says black goes with everything. I plan on doing mine black. I don't think it's childish. I think it keeps the calipers from sticking out too much.

Meh, they turn black on their own ;)
Besides I'm only 20, I can pull of somewhat childish tastes haha

I did mine this weekend as well, with a Duplicolor kit.
Luckily for me, I had art brushes handy, cause the brush it came with was beyond crap.

I like it what product did you use?
Duplicolor kit, they dont sell yellow in stores though (that i could find) its $18 online plus a $2 1/4 paint brush because the one included falls apart and leaves all kinds of strands in the paint. I didn't bother taking off the calipers for the job just be careful!

Haven't decided if I'm going to do just drilled and slotted rotors or the whole brembo kit yet but either way once the brake dust gets on them everything sort of blends together lol

The covers are a plastic box that makes it look like you have massive multi-pot calipers over stock rotors. 8 times out of 10 they look stupid. The other 2 they look awesome!
The Duplicolor kits can be done in place as long as your knees are good and you mask reasonably well and can paint.
Third option is rattle-cans. And to do them well you need to take the calipers off (in my opinion). But I also feel that they look the best when done that way.

I saw a brand new Kia Optima SXL and it was black w nice chrome wheels and red calipers...whew did it look hot! But my VT is blue and I can't figure out a good caliper color that would look good. I was thinking maybe white would look good, but I don't want to look like a rolling smirf either :-D

Right? It's hard matching blue with many things....

I've got all the rattle-cans I need to paint my calipers sometime this week. Any tips? Can anyone show me precisely which parts of the caliper need to be masked off and which parts are okay to paint? I don't want paint all over the piston, but I also have zero experience working with brakes in any way. I've read quite a bit, and watched some videos, but nothing has been specific to the VT.

My VT is blue, and the red calipers look great in my opinion.
