Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner. This weekend kicked my ass. Orders coming in left and right, super busy, etc.

This code is just an annoyance, nothing is going to happen if it is thrown.

I am surprised you can't clear it though as I have never had a problem clearing it. I probably clear it once a week.

You can remove the small spring and add some pre-load and you should never throw the CEL again. Otherwise, if you like the BOV sounding like it is, then just deal with the annoying little light. I have a big explanation on WHY it throws the code on the forums.

The P2261 code is VERY common with the Type S with both springs and is even popped sometimes with the forge or the HKS and HKS Style.

How is your setup? Vacuum line tee'd off the throttle body or map sensor on the intake manifold? The two nipples on the exit side of my solenoid are looped together, maybe I will individually cap them ...I am stumped... For now I took the blue 15 amp fuse out for the Ecu to reset it ...now finally the check light is gone

For those whose check engine lights that can't be deleted, this is the only way, without going back to the dealer ...I think it locks up when you shut the car off during the automatic blue link scan before it completes it's scan cycle
