Been trying for a week now, but every dealer says it is impossible to finance me for a VT, sadly. They never give me a very exact reason, but I'm sure it's because they always lowball me hard on my Genesis Coupe. So.. it's a LONG shot, but I'm actually looking to trade my 2011 Genesis Coupe (2.0t R-spec, 54k miles) for a VT. Otherwise, I gotta wait till my credit settles a bit. But I'm so impatient! haha

I have considered, but they won't because I'm upside down in the Genesis.

I want to go with a VT because of the bad Winters we get in Utah (not overly concerned with that) and I really want the warranty for peace of mind. The GenCoupe is an AMAZING car though, I just don't think I can really afford it after the warranty runs out.

Interesting....wonder if this is true.
It is. They knock it down to a 90 day prorated 'as long as nothing falls off the car before you drive off the lot' something. Well, perhaps not that bad..

I'm at work right now, but I'll toss on pictures when I get home later =) I actually didn't expect anyone to reply haha.

I'm looking for: Black/white/ or blue, in a manual only. Though, I gotta look into this whole warranty can't transfer thing a bit more it looks like.

You got PM.

I've tried calling local dealers, but they are useless here in Utah.

Also.. the VT community is genuinely, the BEST I've ever seen with a car group. The GenCoupe guys are all way mean on the forums for no reason, nearly all the posts here are constructive, I love it. I'll be getting one someday, probably two. (the ms LOVES them as well, and her GTi is getting old..)

It's a manual transmission. CAI and a 'base' tune. And AMAZING condition with the paint. Are you able to 'certified pre owned' and keep the full warranty like a dealership?
ONLY hyundai dealerships can CPO their cars. This gives them the upper hand when it comes to reselling them. However, you might call up your hyundai dealership and see what they'd do on a warranty. I was looking at a used non-turbo from a different dealership, and the Hyundai dealership said they would take it out to 100k warranty for about $1300. I read the paperwork on it, and it seemed pretty legit. And, you'd be dealing with a specific dealership instead of one of those warranty companies that just sell a boatload of warranties and then try to get out of them as soon as something goes wrong.

I believe you can purchase extended warranty from Hyundai which is transferable when the vehicle is sold
