I bought the VT a few months back as a marketing tool for by Insurance Agency. I had a half wrap put on through a friend of a friend, and couldn't be happier with it and the calls I receive. Every time I go for a drive = free advertising! Anybody else done any car wraps?

Looks nice, a drive-able billboard, and our cars sure catch eyes I tell you.
Which spoiler did you put on the car? Any pics of that closer up or one from behind?
Is the blue on the car all a wrap then, as in 3M vinyl or something?

That spoiler looks nice! Doesn't make your car look "Ricey" lol && I might be mistaken but doesn't the wrap mess up your paint when you want to remove it? Something about the heat melting the wrap and damaging your original paint? Correct me if I'm wrong...

The wrap is vinyl, and if adhesive is used it can damage paint when removing. I worked with a great shop that did a clean install, and it actually protects the paint from the elements.

Wheels are a tough choice because when it comes time to sell your car most buyers won't care for your personal choice. Worse yet, buyers often look at aftermarket wheels as a sign that the car has been driven hard. Hold on to your stock wheels if you can and put them back on when it comes time to sell your VT.

Aftermarket wheels often date your car too. Usually wheel "fashion" can be a fad that does not hold up well over time. I've bought a lot of older/vintage BMWs and when I pull on one for the first time aftermarket rims really stand out. On those cars the aftermarket wheels are typically not as good as the stock JAL or BBS wheels either. So that becomes a big problem.

I don't love the stock VT wheels myself. So I get the desire to replace them. One of the problems with the stock VT wheel is that they are actually pretty nice and light and you need to spend some money to get a lighter wheel that is going to be as durable. The VT is sprung pretty stiff and has low profile tires - which can be tough on wheels. If you read the customer reviews on cheap light wheels you will see that they are prone to bending. It is one thing to replace a bent wheel today, but it is another thing to replace a bent wheel years from now if that aftermarket wheel is no longer available.

The one wheel design that is classic and doesn't go out of style is the BBS horseshoe spoke design. That design has been around for decades and is the stock wheel for almost every race car and M3 or serious 911. That design is always available from BBS, OZ and Enkei.

That is probably the wheel design that I will get.
