Central FL VT G2G: Saturday, May 18th, 2013 @ 6am - Largo/St. Pete: Cars & Coffee!

Okay, so here's where I'm at with this - Saturday, May 18th, 2013 - Meet at 6am over at the Franklin Templeton parking garage off of Ulmerton (only like 2 miles from the event) and then trek over to the DuPont Registry's Cars & Coffee Event which starts at 7am. By meeting at the Franklin Templeton parking garage, hopefully we can obtain some cool all VT shots from Petey, and then make an entrance all at once when arriving over to the Cars & Coffee dealio.

I'm definitely coming, but like I said if I take a Porsche then I'll be heading right there. But if I take my car then I'll really try to make it to the garage. I'll keep you updated as the week goes on.

I'm going to a Dyno Day with a couple buddies from the Tampa Automotive Club right after DuPont to get some photos. All big money cars (Viper, Vettes, CLK63 Black Series, GT3 RS, GT-R, etc)

I would go but maybe in June. Plus I it will be hard for me to do this 6am meet up deal due to my work schedule at night. I get off at 7am and it will take me at least 30 min to get to the meet. What time does this meet usually over with?

DuPont says 7-9am. I'm probably getting a bite to eat after then heading to the dyno day

Dyno Day is canceled. Still coming up though. I'll keep you updated on what car I'm bringing

Sucks, all this month im working doubles :-( I work as a nurse, weird shifts/weird hours. It looks like its gonna be cool. Pls take plenty of pictures guys.

Reaper7, thank you for what you do! Nurses are often forgotten in the "services" industry, until we need to call upon them, of course. I appreciate nurses with the same regard as a cop or fireman, personally.

Sorry you won't be able to make it. I'll do my best to take some pics, but I'll probably have both of my munchkins with me (3 y/o daughter, 2 y/o son) because they are both equally car-centric (already!) as their father is! So between juggling them, I'll do what I can But if PeteyT is coming up, he'll be the photog-extraordinaire and take care of biz!

In all seriousness, I've known about C&C's for years, but have never been able to get myself up at that hour. Plus I live in NE Tampa, and that would mean getting up at 5 (though traffic would be easy for sure). I would love to meet a few of you guys/gals, and talk about the VT, but for me it will have to be an afternoon/evening meet up.

Sounds like you will be suffering.. Is it the 4S?

No it's just a regular S with PDK/Sport Plus and I think it's got the Porsche Sport Exhaust (PSE). I've driven every version of the new 991 and there's no real difference in feel. But that booty on the 4S mmmmm mmmmm!!!
