Been thinking of going to a 17 inch wheel and getting some tires with more sidewall to soak up the potholes better. Just got done with a 500 mile road trip and some of the holes and bridge joints jarred my teeth. Anything to worry about ? Don't do it, it'll F'up the car ?

Forgot to mention everything is stock right now. Previous owner must have had a love affair with curbs, all the rims have rash and one is missing chunk out of the lip.

The tire Denver mentioned is the way to go for an all season performing tire. A 16" or 17" should suit you. In that tire I'd go with the 245 in either wheel size or the 255 in the 17" wheel size.

Thanks guys. Looking at the Drag DR35 on discount tire. Now to find a tires that won't kill me.

Denver I see your running coilovers, would the 245 40 17 still work with the stock suspension ?

Well I decided to stick with the stock rims and tire for now. I'll wait till I can upgrade both at the same time. I'll have more tire options than what will fit the stock rims.

Are those the AVID.1 AV-06 wheels?
I've been eyeing those.

If not, what wheels are those? They look great!!!
Yep! They are indeed, and thank you so much. They are heavy, about 25 lbs in 17x9 42, i wanted gold, but they sent white... kind of a happy mistake as i would have hated the gold.

Probably way better than being lowered. Haha.

Just worried that it would look weird without being lowered.

Oh that is a good though, and yeah you would have a lot more wheel well to fill.

Guess I'll stay with 18's really wanted the white avids but think the 9.5 might be to much.

Actually I don't think it'll be that bad. Been playing with willtheyfit and others and the numbers aren't that far off.
