Chatter/Rattle noise on accel from RF ??????
I am getting a intermittent chatter/rattle from rf under hard accel from stop, rolling slow, sounds almost like an axle noise, anybody else have this ????

OP, I hear a chatter/rattle that sounds like sheet metal vibrating against something. I really only hear it when I'm pulling in the driveway (slow speed, feathering the clutch), so I pay it no mind though.
Sunday while I was driving over some bumps in the road I heard a big CRACK, can't imagine what it was. I finally got a chance to stop and look outside but found nothing disturbed. I'm still disturbed because it was so loud. 50/50 that something under the car broke - no way to check and there's no change in how the car handle nor any noise while driving. Just have to wait. Glad I've a good warranty.

I do hear clicking noise inside the cabin at slow speeds..i wish there was a way to pin point them!!!!!
I hear a lot of noise from the suspension/tires when going over a bumpy road at slower speeds. it almost sounds like part of the suspension is loose, like a tapping sound that coincides with each bump. one particular road if my windows are down it sounds like i'm riding on flat tires, it's eerie. My guess is that's just the suspension tuning plus tires. I haven't found anything wrong with the car so hopefully it's nothing serious.
My VT is an auto, I work for Ford and we have lifted the car, inspected axles, pulley's, etc. Nothing looks out of place, had first LOF about a week ago and the dealer looked at it, unable to duplicate, npf, I have heard it three times, I will look at the crank pulley. No mods or anything else.
I hear something similar when accelerating from 20-40mph but it stops after 40.... its really weird... I thought it might have been the sunroof, but not sure as it seems to be more of a vibrating/buzzing noise.That's terrible......but funny!

Now that I have 3k miles on mine I am beginning to seriously flog it and the drivetrain it is perfectly quiet under all conditions. I figure that if there is a problem I want to find it out under the first year total warranty.
The VT does have hard tires and an open differential. It is easy to make the front wheels hop if you drop the clutch off the line and that can sound make a chattering sound. And if you are treating the pedals like on/off switches the right tire can break first and hop about.
When you really hammer it and exceed the fun limit the ECT will kick in and it engages the ABS on one of the wheels - which can also make a chattering sound. The ECT light comes on when you do that. Try turning off the ECT and see if that gets rid of the chatter.

I thhink there might be two different problems listed here. The problem I'm having is that weird buzzing sound (which i describe as frog like kind of sound), happens whenever I let go off the accelerate. It happens when I accelerate too. I pin pointed the sound which seems to be coming from underneath the passenger seat behind the drivers side (right). I'm taking a guess here but it might be some kind of electrical interference. Some kind of wiring problem perhaps. Can anyone confirm they have the same problem? Turn off you stereo and carefullly listen. Once you hear it you will always notice it.
Yup, same here. However it only happens at about 1600 RPMs. It sounds as if there is a loose heat-shield or a piece of metal rattling. It sounds as if it's coming from somewhere below the center console, it can be heard better in the back seats. I took it to Ourisman Hyundai in Laurel and they looked at it for about 3hrs and could not find the cause. And they were not able to reproduce the sound every time. Sounds like I am getting a similar sound. Mostly it's when I first start the car up and when I turn the tires it almost sounds like hard plastic crinkling. The sound goes away after the car is warmed up or at higher speeds. This started happening around 5k miles.

I'm getting a similar noise. At least i think it's the same noise. Mine is heard when first accelerating from a dead stop or after being in reverse. It's like a click or a clunk. Did you ever find out what it was on your car?
Gotta be either the axle washer, swaybar endlink...
