Yikes. That goes beyond noisy injectors, that's for sure. Oddly hollow and 'resonant' sounding, like something is loose and slapping around with each revolution. When you stick the camera in by the intake at around 55 seconds, I'd swear I should be able to just reach in and poke something to make it stop.

Does it change with rpm or when in gear?
anytime above titled rpm (600-700) the clicking is not heard what so ever.

even at the stated rpm which is idle i have no jerks or blips while this is occurring.

even my cold start is smooth, but once idles, that clicking is very apparent.

sounds like a loose something inside the valvecover?

It seemed to get crystal clear on the microphone when you reached underneath the car for a sec. Have you poked around down there? Maybe an loose heat shield, or exhaust interference? That "shut down" noise is both hilarious and disturbing. Reminds me of tin cans dragging on the road behind newlyweds. Here's hoping it's not an internal issue.

Yeah id start poking around while its running and put pressure on items that could loosen. After I got my DP installed it have slightly moved my exhaust enough to rattle and hit the underside of the trunk area at normal idle. But would stop when revving or driving.

If I am following this correctly... you aren't experiencing ANY performance issues whatsoever, correct? Tranny is fine, motor is fine, etc. etc.... at least from the Butt Dyno perspective? How's gas mileage? Did the noise start after any activity (i.e. oil change, filter cleaning, installation of a new mod, etc?)

Best case scenario is what has been mentioned above and that you have a clamp or shield or something slightly askew and it is just rattling around on something else. If this is the case than you can likely reposition said part and be on your way.

You said this happened before... and went away? What happened that time?

this was my original problem and then the rattling then it got fixed. (flywheel and transmission replaced)

30k miles later the noise is very apparent again.

Input shaft bearing? Does it ever go away while driving? Also, just to make sure, the radiator fan isn't running in these videos right? My radiator fan on my '17 with only 2000 miles on it makes contact with the fan shroud sometimes when shutting down. It only happens occasionally so I'm letting it clearance itself for now.

What about your tune? Did your tune also include the DCT tune that company offers?

Put it on 4 jack stands and let it run and crawl around. Probably will end up being a loose bolt on the exhaust or bell housing.
So i finally put her up on jacks in the front! Here is a new video of the where the sound is coming from specifically. Transmission?

Btw Ive had my flywheel and transmission replaced at 34k and this sounds like the sane issue.
