Does anyone know why the Canadian VT climate control cannot be ordered in auto climate control?

Edit; My guess is that they are tring to keep the costs down. To bad it would of been an option I would of been willing to pay for.

I have seen a video with this type of set up and the guy turned it on.... it displays a climate screen on the 7"... rlly cool... but... i have not seen one like this around me either....:furious:

north america (Canada or US) didn't get this option and to get it functioning (if a KDM kit was offered) it would probably be a HUGE pain in the ass to get working. You would need the proper ducting controls for each side, the knob button and integrate it into the touchscreen.

@ Turbosocks; Would'nt want to mod just would of been nice to have option to purchase from factory. Either way I'm happy with my purchase... Just needs to show up.

Had it in my Elantra and I have it in my Genesis. Never use it actually. Dont like the way it constantly goes on and off trying to maintain a certain temp.

In Australia, I get the Auto climate control (which i think is really good!) maintains a comfortable temp. But we don't get the heated seats! this really bugs me because we pay $35k for this car in Australia (which is better than the $50k in NZ) and get less of the features.

yeah, its kind of weird how different regions get different packages and or options.

To be honest, I am surprised that different countries gets different options...

Then after researching, I realized that different countries have different laws about specific part of the car...then it's up to Hyundai whether to include or exclude and the subsquently cost structure.

Ya see, you and me are in the same boat, I hate climate control, on off, on again, heat on cause I'm cold, then damnn, the AC comes on because I'm driving in the sun and the computer does not like the extra couple of degrees, these systems drive me up a wall...

I have climate control in all my other cars, and I find I fiddle with it about as much as having no climate control, so I didn't miss it in my VT.
