I believe mine was built when they resumed production, unfortunately they must have used components manufactured before the strike by disgruntled employees. It was bloody hell waitjng for them to put mine together, corporate really made it happen for me. I was very surprised and impressed byhe way they handled it.

So I finally got hyundai to replace my angry fuel pump...about time. I revisited this thread to brush up on the subject to make sure all fuel related aspects are addressed while they have access. I thought I read somewhere that the fuel lines should be purged. Ive already did the techron, every oil change, does that clean up on the injector end.
just wanna make sure theres not a spec of any foreign materials anywhere in the system. so what about purging and anything else I should know. Really what have loved to get some updated injectors in, but atleast I wont have to worry about pump failure.
