A few weeks ago a message box appeared on my satnav screen that said:

"Application Error: Application blue.exe has encountered a serious error and must shut down."

The blutooth stopped working and needed to restart the car to get going again. This happened a couple of times and our local dealer ended up replacing the whole satnav/head unit.

Yesterday I got a similar message but it wasn't blue.exe, it was jupiter.exe and the satnav couldnt acquire any satellites. The next day it was ok, but has anyone seen this before? The local dealers here are scratcing their heads.

Sounds like file system corruption on the head unit.
Being that its just Windows CE it may be possible to just reimage it like a normal PC, however I doubt they will have the appropriate means to do it... It will likely need a new HU.. The good news is that if they do that you get all your free trial subs all over again, lol.

They have replaced the HU because of the blue.exe problem. Could be a faulty unit I guess. Damn Microsoft strikes again!

18 months later, and they are still doing it. I'm also in Brisbane, and purchased mine in March this year. Here is a pic of the error I got yesterday:
