Dont let the people here convince you that its not possible. With that being said driving her on the street is alot different than the track and it might take you some time and practice to get her running those numbers.

I ran a 14.99 in my 2013 vt m/t with just an aem cai and tork pipe.

Mid 13s tuned with good sticky tires is definitely doable. All that is required is a good driver. There are a bunch of people who claim it isnt possible and to those people I say prove it. Post YOUR time slips fully bolted and tuned so we can analyze your slips and see how it isnt possible. Otherwise at 2800 pounds and 250-260whp that is perfectly normal.
I think what you meant to say was proven. Furthermore your comments make absolutely no sense. There are tons of people who make these absurd claims about people being fully modded and tuned and running mid 14s. To those people I say prove it, post your time slip so we can see your 60ft numbers and your trap speeds so we can then determine if the car is incapable or simply the driver. For the most part the people on this forum putting up big numbers don't seem to be drag racers. Also tork himself mentioned that his 13 second pass was a 1 time thing and he never ran it again, insisting that he could have ran a better time.from VLO+N20

At those trap speeds of 94 mph 14.6 is right on the money @97mph more like 14.2 but he is the only one, did anybody know his mods aside from the homemade ic! I ran 14.99 on 93shell fresh penzoil ultra, 1422 ngks,aem cai, tork pipe, with the stock trash kuhmos that were fairly used and had i cut a 2.2 i would have put down a 14.6 as well oh i also had a 1/2 tank of gas. I want people with fully bolted tuned cars to post their slips. Followed by others with tune and bolt ons with same 60 and similar quarter miles. I'm saying some are claiming these amazing numbers while others rage quit after clocking lower than expected times.
This ^ however i want proof of! 93 mph and a 14.3 what was your 60ft a 1.8??Just got back to the track and ran a 14.3 @ 93 mph. My other runs were slower in time but had the same time but lower trap speed. I'm thinking its heat soak but who knows I'm posting a thread tomorrow about the issue
Me either especially on stock tires! A 2.0-2.2 is achievable with good sticky tires and the right launch but at 93mph he would need way better than that!I don't remember seeing anyone on this forum post a timeslip showing less than a 2.2s 60', which is merely average for FWD.
Oh how I wish I owned a drag strip. Cant wait to go back out to the drag strip and put down some solid numbers!
