Ok, ina another thread a few people were talking about the claws, and i mentioned I was going to make a set of custom ones for myself, and potentially cast them to sell out to others as well.
This is the beginning of that process, the simple layout and shape. This is what i have come up with, so let me know what everyone thinks. I will most likely make my own favorite (since hell, I'm making them for me haha) but if majority hates my choice, I may make both.

I prefer number 2 the most, and will probably be going about making this set up, but let me know opinions. Final version may be diff lengths, and somehow molded all to be one piece, to make it flow better, easier to place, and easier to make.
I honestly can;t say a for sure price right now, but lets just ball park 50 if I choose a double, and 75 if I choose a triple design, mainly because it will be a limited run deal, and casting plastic is expensive.
*btw, most likely will be cast in a durable plastic resin, close to the properties of abs, but not as soft. *

Also, no I will not spend hours of working and molding clay just to see how a set of claws looks because someone can't use imagination and picture it haha, I just don;t have that kind of time.

Hmm if you want to go with 3 I would say #5 over #2.

i agree, #2 has the best flow. # 3&4 look messy, and #1 looks incomplete. Do u plan in making them w dif colors?

No, i plan to be casting them in black plastic. I could tint the plastic different colors, but I could never match the paint. I could paint them after to match to match the cars, but I imagine that would tack on another 150 or so to the price, that would mean primer, basecoat and clear to match the factory color.

#5 is cool.....but I think it would make a huge difference if on the final where the end of the claw meets the bumper the end thickness should match the recess thickness beneath the headlight.

Yea, the more I look at it, I like #5 as well. I'd definitely buy it, lol.

Would you make it in different colors? (I ask because my VT is black, so i'd rather have it in gray, to match the other gray on the VT body.)
