Yes this is true but would be splitting hairs. Converter locked near 100% during these sessions. No slip from the power made and heat which was my concern but it did not make enough power due to the heat to do this. That may change soon.

273.2°F was the max. After around 260°F it locks the paddles out to where you can't shift manually and reverts to sport mode.

Need data anyone can provide from a tracked VT to see if these are typical with the same or similar mods. Why nobody collects or posts data for things like this is beyond me. Will help the community a lot to collect and share this type data to further improve the platform.

I can in the spring, but I can’t data log and put telemetry over my videos at the same time.
We had to use 2 devices to do this. The data would be great for the community alongside a mod list and ambient conditions.

and an android phone?

i think there are less than 10 of us who race.... outside of traffic.
We used 2 phones(like Kevin Gates) for data. One for datalogs I posted and another for track data using a standalone GPS device.

The data will help those that race the cars and those that daily drive hard. Myself I want to be sure both tune and parts are up to the task of making power safely and proper heat management.

Guy sent me some video and lap data from the car. Did best of 1:53 and 110 mph at CMP in Kershaw SC. Track time could be better without other cars holding it back and with driver practice more mods more power etc.

Pretty cool seeing a VT pass other cars many think that it has no chance against. Also funny seeing it pass a VN that's a few cars ahead within the first 30-35 seconds of the track session. VT was hitting 1.3-1.4 G in the corners before losing traction and hit max of 1.8G at one point. Not bad for whats done to the car.

Just fun seeing the VT takeover cars that are 2-3x the price or more powerful larger displacement cars. The reaction from the owners is priceless.

Always good to others getting data. Do you datalog the car during sessions? A good datalog is priceless.

You need it setup properly before datalog can occur. Then you need to log any pertinent data that may be useful.
