Bought some ViVViD vinyl and a toolkit from Amazon and started doing some vinyl on my 2016 VT with Pano roof. I used some gloss black vinyl to cover the roof line to make sort of a cap on the top that blends with the glass.
Also used some carbon fiber vinyl for the back window. Note: Probably not quite legal.
I did a few pieces and overlapped them. I found that overlapping is almost unnoticeable even with a texture like the carbon fiber. I will probably end up redoing the roof cap again anyway after I wrap the rest of the car. I am thinking about matte gray. I actually didn’t watch tutorial videos. This was mostly about just exploring on my own. I plan to watch some videos before wrapping the whole car and compare the guidance to my experiences.
10 out of 10, will never plastidip again!
