For taking out the rear paneling please refer to my other DIY and then come back to this one. http://www.velosterturbo.org/forum/veloster-turbo-diy/894-diy-get-driver-side-rear-speaker-sub.html

Items need to do this:
A set of tweeters, pen, razor or hotknife and about 20-30 min

Vehicle Auto part Car Tire Automotive wheel system

I used the two top rear panels and measured about 2"1/4width and 3"3/4 high on both of them. Even though there positioning is differently spaced within the car at least it will be in the same location on the plastic… So I used a basic pen to mark my location for them as seen…

I used the ring of the Tweeter to trace the circle to use the razor to cut.

Tightly press the ring where you like the tweeter and trace it.
Floor Metal Flooring

It’s easy to cut this plastic as its really soft, I just press it into the plastic and wiggle it back and forth and pull out and start right next to the pervious spot. I KNOW SOMEONE IS GONA SAY USE A HOT KNIFE… IT’S MY PREF AS I FEEL I HAVE BETTER CONTROLE THIS A RAZOR AND LESS MESS AND TIGHT FIT.

Shown cut and just remove it

Now take the ring and try to place it into the hole and More than likely it won’t fit and all you have to do is trim around the edges and keep placing the ring on it to see what needs trimmed and it fit great

Metal ring that go’s on the back to hold the tweeter in place.

Lol , you did the same thing i did and ran the wire thru that little hole .... i got worried when i realized that little hole was the panel fastener hole, i need to re-do mine as i am worried the wire is going to get pinched and short out.

I got the subs going in tomorrow, all the door speaker install stuff i got is the same as you so I wont bother posting it. Had no idea what the polarities on the stock wires were so i just matched them based on the design of the white clips ..
Well as fare as the sub i havent had time yet to measure everything but i am doing a rockford for sure and im useing a pioneer digetail amp and next is to figure out the wire setup on the oem amp ( if you know it let me know) also i found a box under my driver seat so not sre what that is as well.
