Today i'm going to outline a quick easy way to make better use of your fog lights. For this DIY you will need:

1 )Phillips head screw driver.
Grass Soil

Insert the Screw driver into the hole shown below:
Automotive lighting Headlamp Light Car Vehicle

Start rotating the screw driver to raise the height of the fog lights.

Black hair Mouth Hand Auto part Finger

This will mod will make better use of your fog lights

Enjoy..

Correct me if I am wrong! But the purpose of a fog light is to light up the road, right in front of the car, and low, so to cover the gap of the headlights leave not shinning right in front of the car, and thus increasing visibility under fog and/or rain. If you aim them higher you lose that extra visibility, and actually will make fog and rain look worse. That would only maybe make your car look better when coming, but it would also blind oncoming traffic, not to mention running into a a**hole of a cop and getting a ticket.

My fogs came aimed with the cut-off about 8 feet in front of the bumper. Which is really useful if someone looses a contact lens in the parking lot, but not a hell of a lot else.

They come angled too low from the factory which makes them not do a single thing. Angling them up a bit makes visibility in poor conditions much better. I would say this mod is functionality plus cosmetic. Two for one.
I guess it would be a matter of trying it and maybe it works. One thing I don't like about this car is the halogen lights. I am used to Xenon. Gotta find a level surface and a wall to see how low they are. Mine are factory set now. So screw in to raise, and out to lower? Is that correct?

This mod may not be for everyone's taste.

Noted! But I would not call it a mod; more like an adjustment. Seems from the response from other members that the fogs are set too low from factory; I mean one would think the factory setting would be for optimal illumination, but I guess not!!!

Yes but when you look at things like tires that lack the performance of a cheaper tire through the same manufacturer, this doesn't seem like a stretch
