So my dealer used the kit on my car right before handing me the keys. He told me they left the remains in the boot. they had no idea why id want it and said "oh, to redo this all later? I guess so"

i drove it home about 300 miles yesterday. today i open the boot to clean everything out and i notice the whole kit is basically empty / not there. The only thing there is a microfiber mitt and the cleaner spray.

Has anyone used the kit. Did they use the right amount or did they use too much? I don't want to start a stink over it if thats how much it really uses. Although no microfiber towels kinda pissed me off since i wanted to wipe some stuff off.

I assume you got the matte paint, I have no idea how much should be used... but I would just call your salesman and request a replacement as it should have COME with the purchase regardless of them delivering your car to you cleaned, which is something they should be doing at the dealers cost for good customer service.

Demand your full kit. It comes with 2 foam applicators, 2 wash pads, 2 microfiber towels. If they used the whole thing, they used far too much. If they give you a fuss, complain to Dr. Beasley's directly. Their customer service is excellent.

Basically you use .5 to 1 oz of the sealant for the car (the bottle is 4 ounces) and 1 oz per gallon of the body wash per gallon of water (the bottle is 12). You also get a full bottle of the matte paint cleanser as well which is ONLY to be used BEFORE the sealant is put on (if you choose to) otherwise it will remove the paint sealant which is crucial to keeping the finish looking the way it does. It should also have a full bottle of matte paint final finish which is used to spot clean bugs and bird droppings.

I would not have taken delivery and suggest you do what you need to do asap. These dealers are not trained in how to care for matte paint. It's a $200 kit and I can't believe they didn't give you the full kit to use yourself.
