Eyeballing a set of drag radials.

Whats the smallest wheel you can fit on the brakes?

What's an ideal starting point for tire size?

Smallest wheel on VT front brakes 16". Can get a 15" on Veloster front brakes though.

245/45R17 Mickey Thompson ET Street R is what I'm using. I've managed a 1.895 60' not leaving on full power and still spinning. Limited partially by track prep and partially by the car setup. These will hold a much better 60' if the stars allign.

Also another good choice is a Hoosier DR2 255/50R16 or 245/45R17. I've seen all 3 of these tires cut a 60' much better than my PB of 1.895 with the VT.

I'm on 17" x 8" +48 OZ that are 15.5 lbs each. A VN has gone 1.75 60' on the 245/45R17 DR2's.....
