Not very true, with just an S-AFC on DSMs I've seen increases of up to 25 whp, smoother power band, and better gas mileage. I raced a guy in an s13 that ran 13s all day long in the 1/4 mile with an S-AFC a while back so it's not isolated to just DSMs.Honestly i dont know. They have to crack the pcm then shops will have to have the software to do it. Within a year a few companies will have canned tunes for sale but as far as dyno tuning theres no point unless you get very modified.
i think he meant dyno tuning as opposed to street/ canned tuneNot very true, with just an S-AFC on DSMs I've seen increases of up to 25 whp, smoother power band, and better gas mileage. if you data log a canned tune it's customYeah thanks kyle. I will never say a tune isnt worth it. Im just saying a dyno tune isnt necessary or for that matter necessarily as good as a canned tune that you datalog.
